Casa Allegra, as the names suggests, is a place of happiness and joy and with 5000sqm of beautiful landscaped gardens, it provides a uniquely peaceful and private space for families and friends to come together.
This five-bedroom house, right in the heart of Trentham, is the perfect escape for up to 10 people (or 20 if booked in conjunction with Casa Andante, next door). In addition to the 2 living areas in the house, there is a large garden studio which provides an extra entertainment / living area, yoga space, meeting room, venue for small events or just a place to relax.
The outlook and position of Casa Allegra makes it a perfect property for all seasons. In Summer you can enjoy al fresco dining on the deck. With an elevated view over the large garden and the lake beyond, it is the perfect setting for long lunches or dinner parties. Or enjoy a picnic in the spacious gardens, croquet on the lawns, or find a quiet place to read a book. At night enjoy the starry skies sitting around the fire pit in the garden.
In winter, curl up in front of the fire in the cosy living room on comfy sofas or enjoy the large sunny garden studio with billiard table, table tennis table, sofas and another fireplace.
The five stylishly appointed bedrooms have beautiful linen and upholstered bed heads. Each room can be configured as a King sized bed or two long singles.
Two bedrooms have en-suites. The remaining three bedrooms are serviced by a bathroom and an additional separate toilet.

“ I booked both Casa Allegra and Casa Andante for a weekend away with old friends. It worked wonderfully having both houses. Both houses are beautifully styled, the comfort is exceptional, the cleanliness perfect: overall the attention to detail is unique. On one day we used the large studio at Casa Allegra for a yoga class and enjoyed long walks in the lovely surrounds. We relaxed in the various lounge rooms of Casa Andante and Casa Allegra with lovely open fires. My friends and I all thought the properties were sensational and have booked again for a return trip. ”

From Friday afternoon at Du Fermier, the deck and gardens of Casa Allegra in the evening and Saturday breakfast at Red Beard, the short stroll to the cricket ground, dinner and drinks at the Cosmopolitan. It has become a fantastic weekend for us all, – the amount of greetings I get when in the IGA, at the pub, walking down the street is amazing. We really feel like we’re a part of the town.
